About James...

"I am a personal trainer, nutritionist and someone who loves pushing themselves to their limit. I have worked with some great athletes and had the opportunity to travel to some incredible places with my sport, including Siberia where I have just come back from. Having worked with a client who competed in the worlds longest cycling race 'The Red Bull Trans Siberian extreme race' I organised his nutrition for this insane event and loved the journey. I personally have Competed in 4 Ironman distance triathlons, competing for Great Britain in the aquathlon in London and also having qualified for GB in Triathlon for Lisbon 2016 sprint distance, as well as 2016 Duathlon 2016 European championships. "

What is your biggest sporting achievement?

"Competing for my county is probably my biggest achievement even though it was a smaller distance race the pride of wearing the GB kit was incredible."

What is your favourite food?

"Far too hard a question! I love all my food."

What song gets you in the mood for a race?

"Music is such a intricate part of my training when training alone or when just trying to get out of bed at 5AM for a session. I listen to a huge variety of music including: Gonna fly now- Maynard Ferguson, Not giving in- Rudimental, Overtime- clement Marfo, Till I collapse- Eminem."

What is your favourite GlycoSource Flavour?

"Has to be Caribbean Crush! Not sure I could race without this in my bottle any more."

What are your future goals?

"Training is now focused to the Duathlon Champs in Germany next year and trying to break my current PB's in a few different distances."
